To promote neighborhood participation in the new community building of Gibraltar (designed by architect Carlos Weeber), 30 people from that neighborhood came to my studio. They all made a tile to be used as a decoration in one of the walls of the building. Except 2 or 3 participants no one had ever worked with clay before. The youngest person was 4, the oldest 70+. They made beautiful textured tiles.
