With a little help from nature 1998-2002

You can see my love for material in the photographs I made from walls of old houses. Nature in the tropics is harsh and changes neatly painted walls quickly into beautiful abstract paintings, often than revealing their interesting inside (historical Curacao houses are built with coral stones). One of these pictures I used for the plein air exhibition “Pietermaai” (2007); a huge print of a small paint blister.
