Coralamics 2005 – 2008
It didn’t take long before my whole collection of stones was used. I decided to make my own ‘coral stones’ for my next series. Many of the Curaçao beaches are covered with ‘kraaksteen’; small loose pieces of partially lithified coral. Their interesting shapes and textures inspire me.
